don’t tell anyone at my usual 2nd office, but today my travels have led me to their second location across town.
some quick observations…
…lots of college students (the community college is within walking distance)
…they have booths here. nice. lots of room to sprawl books, laptop and other necessities
…not as communal as the other location where […]

Hello from Kingston, On. I’ve been hanging with my new friends from Next Church, Garry and Al, since yesterday afternoon (http://www.nextchurch.com/). It’s been very cool to hear the story of their 10 year old church plant, and what they’re up to these days. Pray for them, they’re cool guys and are doing a good work.

We made it. Ken almost nailed a herd of deer after dark, but thanks to the superb handling of the TDI (which covered 1200+ kms on ONE tank today) he was able to avoid calamity. The four of us shared the driving duties in both vehicles, and since we arrived so late, everything is closed […]

Ouch…
This chapter hit so close to home (especially the piece on the prodigal son). In passing, my learned (and derranged) friend Dom once said something to the effect that the timing of when you read a book is crucial and truly determines its impact. This couldn’t have been more true for pages 49-72.
