Documentary on New Forms of Church in Canada
Today marks the beginning of a new project that I’m co-leading. Here’s what we’re up to:
Truth be told, ‘one size fits all’ really doesn’t fit anybody – not very well, at least - especially when experiencing new forms of church.
Over the next twelve months we invite you to journey with us in our attempt to capture to film what God is up to in Canada on our shift as the church. Focusing primarily on church plants and new forms of church, this initiative is not a ‘how to’ but rather a ‘how it is’. Our hope? To discover, encourage and connect church leaders and communities…and have a little fun in the process.
Here’s how it will play out: In one fashion or another, we’ll be traipsing across the country compiling footage and stories for this yet to be titled documentary film. In addition, the website will help keep you in the loop with images and updates chronicling our progress and experiences.
Who’s behind this? This documentary is a hybrid project of Resonate and Thinkerlabs.
How can you participate? We’re looking for leads, individuals and networks to show themselves and tell their stories. Email joe@thestory.ca if you fit what we’re looking for.
