shuffle
i’ve got my oldschool iPod on song shuffle. that’s right, out of the 1800 songs i currently have stored it randomly hops around…jazz, hardcore, folk…whatever. what’s crazy is that each song/band/genre somehow transports me back to the time i first heard or bought (or…er…um…borrowed) the recording. sometimes, there are songs that remind me of specific instances in my life and sometimes they even turn my thoughts towards certain people. i wonder if i’m ever on the other end of one of these song flashbacks…i wonder why our brains are wired this way…i wonder how i can manipulate this phenomenon into a worship station idea…
